Rachel Ward
I am a qualified counsellor and Child & Family Practitioner providing support as a Clinical Lead in the Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) sector. I have a diverse background, having also worked for over 20 years in education as a teacher, Assistant Principal and Head of Student Wellbeing , as well as supporting NDIS clients. I have a passion for supporting children, adolescents and parents, as well as helping individuals reach personal wellbeing goals.

My personal background as an elite athlete gives me great insight and understanding into the pressures of athletes through high school and in adulthood. I enjoy helping both young people and adults navigate through the specific challenges they face as athletes in their chosen sports. I still compete,as an open water swimmer: I have won the Pier to Pub in my age group for the last 2 years and recently completed the Capri-Napoli 36km marathon swim as the fastest female and second overall.
